Leif Dybsand, age 84, W4185 Cty. Rd. H, Irma, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.
Leif was born April 25, 1925 in Spooner, the son of Olaf and Emilie (Lillemi) Dybsand. He married Melva Lieber in July 22, 1974 in Tomahawk; she passed away in 2005. Leif served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 - 1946. Leif moved to the Irma area in the 1970s. He was formerly employed with the Tomahawk DNR, retiring in 1982. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Irma.

Leif is further survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Leif Dybsand will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010 from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Irma. Rev. Hans Heisinger will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the spring at Oak Hill Cemetery in the Town of Skanawan.
