Leita Jacques

Leita Jacques, age 96, Tomahawk, passed away October 4, 2010 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Leita was born August 31, 1914 in the Town of Bradley, the daughter Gustave and Josephine (Lee) Erickson. She was raised in North Fond du Lac. She married Raymond Jacques on February 24, 1940 in Fond du Lac. Leita and Raymond formerly lived in Racine, and retired to Tomahawk at the family homestead. Survivors include: Son David (Kathy) Jacques Racine Sister Willow "Willie" Burzlaff Slinger Grandchildren David (Nancy) Jacques Racine Dale (Dawn) Jacques Cedarburg Christi (Mark) Moss Cedar Rapids, Iowa Great grandchildren Dale (Lyrissa) Jacques, Jr., Beckam Moss, Alex & Sydney Jacques Funeral Services for Leita Jacques will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Tom Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Prairie Rapids Cemetery in the Town of Nokomis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association.
