Lena “Lee” Kriesant, 84, a long time Tomahawk resident, passed away peacefully at Friendly Village Nursing Home in Rhinelander on Saturday, November 16, 2019.
Lee was born October 29, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Joseph and Irene (Zoual) Oliverii. She was married to Walter “Wally” Kriesant who passed away in 2016. Lee lived much of her life in the Chicago area, formerly working at Leibermans Record Distributing. She and Wally moved to the Tomahawk area in 1991 and owned and operated Four Corners Tap until 2016. Lee enjoyed shopping, golfing, visiting with friends at Four Corners.
Surviving Lee Kriesant are 3 children, Fred Morgan of Skokie, Illinois, Johnny Kriesant of Merrill, and Terry Abrams of Indiana. She is further survived by her siblings, Frank, Moreno, Rosemary, six grandchildren, and 3 great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wally, and a sister, Joanne.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. Krueger Family Funeral and Cremation Service assisted the family.
