Leona Nibler

Leona E. Nibler, age 98, of W5276 Nibler Road, Tomahawk passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at her home. Leona was born on November 5, 1912 in Tomahawk. She was united in marriage to Benjamin A. Nibler on February 28, 1932, he preceded her in death in 1994. Leona was a long time member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, she enjoyed gardening, crafting, photography, playing 500, and crossword puzzles. Leona is survived by: Son, Dr. James (Kathleen) Nibler Ashland, WI She is further survived by 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Leona was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Ben, and an infant daughter, Delores Eileen. A private family service for Leona Nibler was held at Krueger Family Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Schoenherr officiated. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in the town of Bradley.
