Lester Erickson

Lester Erickson, age 95, of Tomahawk, passed away early this morning (Sunday, May 30, 2010) at the Golden Living Center-Riverview in Tomahawk. He was born July 2, 1914 in Tomahawk to the late Oscar and Mae Erickson. Lester was born and raised in Tomahawk, and had operated the family farm in Irma since 1957. He was married to Jeannette Willett on September 16, 1942 in Merrill; she passed away on June 4, 2009. Survivors include 8 Children, Ervin (Barbara) Erickson, Shirley Withas, Roger Erickson, Beverly (Ray) David, Jack (Jeanette) Erickson, Michael (Corby) Erickson, Suzanne Erickson, and Rick (Joy) Erickson, 2 Sisters, Dorothy (Doyle) Klade and Margaret Malitz. Lester is further survived by 15 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and his Wife. Funeral Services for Lester Erickson will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2009 at 11 AM from the Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk, with Rev. Dr. Gary Uttech to officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 AM until the hour of services at 11. Burial will Take place at the Bethany Cemetery in Irma.
