Linda E. Connelly, age 74, long time resident of Woodruff, Wisconsin, passed away in the early hours of May 28th, 2019. Linda, born April 18th, 1945 enjoyed many activities that the Wisconsin Northwoods had to offer such as hunting, fishing, and was also quite an opponent in the game of horseshoes and even bowling. Known to many as the owner of Linda’s Fishing Adventures, she also contributed to the Lakeland Times and local radio station with daily fishing reports. Having a long-time desire to be a writer, towards the end of her life she finally made that dream a reality by writing a book about her life story called “Cosmic Friends: Ghosts, Spirits, Angels and God” under the pen name of Annie Gates.
Preceded in death by her mother, Caroline Connelly and her sister, Kay. Survived by her brother, Jim; her children Curtis Grebe, Kenneth Grebe and his wife Jamie, and Daniel Grebe and his wife Rebecca. As well as eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Joining the Father in Heaven, she was loved and will be missed by many.
Memorial Service for Linda will be held on Sunday, June 2nd at 1:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at the Tomahawk Health Services in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, who lovingly cared for Linda in her final days.
