Lloyd F. Koth, of 314 E. Prospect Ave., Tomahawk passed away peacefully Sunday morning, at the age of 87. (Dec. 16, 2007)
Lloyd was born on November 7, 1920 in Tomahawk to the late Lloyd, Sr. and Ruth Koth. He was united in marriage on November 15, 1947 in Beloit, Wisconsin to the former Marian L. Anderson, who survives. Lloyd was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Air Force, 8th Air Corp. Division. He was a lifelong Tomahawk resident, graduating from Tomahawk High School in 1937. He had served as General Manager of the Lionite Hardboard Plant in Phillips from 1959 until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the American Legion, a long time member of the Maple Birch Thursday Night Golf League and had served on the Tomahawk Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Lloyd was inducted into the Tomahawk Hatchet Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren at his home on the Wisconsin River. Lloyd was also a member of the Catholic Community of St. Mary Church.

Lloyd is further survived by 9 Grandchildren, Brian, Karen, Mark, Matt, Scott, Ryan, Celie, Kelly and Brad.
Funeral Services for Lloyd Koth will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m., from St. Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Edward Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends in the Corpus Christi Center of St. Mary's Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Mass at 7:00 p.m. A Veterans Memorial Service will be held immediately prior to Mass at 7:00 p.m.
