Lori Hoff, age 44, W6731 Milky Road, Tomahawk, passed away May 28, 2008 at her residence under hospice care following a courageous battle with cancer. Lori was born April 4, 1964 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Lawrence "Buss" and Ann (Van Ryen) Schoone. She married Brad Hoff on March 16, 1985 in Harrison. Lori was formerly employed for many years as a waitress at LaNou's Restaurant. She was also formerly employed with State Farm Insurance in Tomahawk. She was most recently employed with Steigerwaldt Land Services in Tomahawk. Lori enjoyed playing softball and coaching youth softball. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Husband Brad Hoff Tomahawk 1 Son Jordan Hoff Tomahawk 1 Daughter Kassi Hoff at home Dad & Step Mom Lawrence "Buss" & Ruby Schoone Harrison 2 Brothers Robert (Teri) Schoone Steve (Karen) Schoone both of Tomahawk 3 Sisters Carol (Gary) Swan Barbara (Carl) Taves Carmen (Brian) Viegut all of Tomahawk Lori is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother - Ann, sister - Beverly, maternal grandparents - John & Ruth Van Ryen, and paternal grandparents - Lawrence and Cecelia Schoone. A Mass of Christian Burial for Lori Hoff will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008 from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Corpus Christi Center of St. Mary's on Sunday, June 1st from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
