Louise M. Bartelt

Louise M. Bartelt, age 95, a lifelong Tomahawk resident, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehab Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Louise was born on July 26, 1920 in Tomahawk to George and Alma (Blum) Bartelt. She attended Tomahawk schools and later the Wausau Business College. She was employed for many years in the office at Sacred Heart Hospital. She retired in 1984. Louise enjoyed volunteering at Sacred Heart and the Tomahawk Historical Society. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling. Louise is survived by a niece, Kathleen (James) McConnell of Wisconsin Rapids and 3 nephews, Jeff, Tim, and Michael Bartelt. Louise was preceded in death by her brother and sister in law, George and Joanne Bartelt. Mass of Christian Burial for Louise Bartelt will be offered on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. Louis will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at St. Mary Church from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at 11 a.m.
