Lucille “Tiny” Hodge, 88, a lifelong Tomahawk area resident, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Milestone Assisted Living in Tomahawk.
Lucy was born October 17, 1930 in Tomahawk to Ralph and Anna (Wright) Hodge. She had been a teacher in the Tomahawk School District for over 40 years. Tiny enjoyed playing cards, gardening, socializing, reading, and crossword puzzles. She had traveled all over the world. She was a member of the Book Club, Tomahawk Historical Society, and the Tomahawk Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving Lucille Hodge are a niece and nephew, Patty (Jeff Luther) VanDeWeerd and Nick (Marla) Schiltz all of Tomahawk and 3 great nieces, Jackie (Mike) Esselman of Stone Lake, WI, Shannon (Jason) Halverson of Tomahawk, and Karen Sundquist also of Tomahawk. Tiny is further survived by 5 great great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two sisters, and a brother in law.
A private family graveside service for Lucille Hodge will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
