Lucille J (Weber) Kosharek

Born on October 9, 1923 and passed on January 29, 2024 at over 100 years old.

“This is what it’s like in heaven, praising God all day long.”

Lucille was a lovely woman who loved the Lord all the days of her life. She was the kindest, sweetest person and was loved by everyone who knew her. Even when her memory failed her, she continued to be kind and brought laughter to all who she interacted with. Lucille knew that the secret to a long, beautiful life was the ability to laugh at herself and life itself.

Lucille came from a family of 10 children, lived through the depression and WWII. She was a wife and devoted mother who worked at home and outside of the home in many roles: secretary, real estate agent, tax preparer to name a few. Above all else, she was a tower of graceful strength that she received from the Lord. She made life fun in celebrating each holiday to the fullest.

She had so many talents. She loved to play tennis and ping pong. She loved spending time with her girlfriends and going to Camp with them. She taught confirmation classes. She and her husband (Jerry) retired to Everett, Washington and spent much time traveling and going on tours sponsored by the community they lived in.

While she loved the Lord from an early age, she came to a saving knowledge of Christ later in life and was water baptized at age 80.

Lucille was the beloved mother of Ron (Sue), Kathie, Robert (Mary Jean) and Judy Kosharek. Grandmother to Jacob, Jennifer, Jeffery Kosharek and Alexa and Levi Hefner. Great grandmother to Tanner Hefner. Aunt to Gary Weber, Linda (nee Weber) Lahmann, Susan (nee Weber) Emanuelson and Len Kosharek.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Kosharek, and all her siblings: John, Bill, Ed, Clarence, Clara, Mary, Lillian, Robert, Joseph Weber. Nephew’s Tom Weber, Ken Kosharek and Donald Hintz.

Mom’s favorite words through all in life and to the end was; “I’m Okay.”
