Lucille Robards

Lucille Robards, age 92, Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Lucille was born October 8, 1916 in Chicago, the daughter of James & Ruby (Goodman)Rose. She married Harry Robards May 7, 1938; he passed away in 1971. Lucille lived most of her life in Berwyn, Illinois. She moved to Tomahawk in 1995, and lived the past few years at Golden Age Nursing Home. She spent her life caring for others, was a great cook of Italian cuisine, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Lucille will be sadly missed by the family that took care of her for the past 13 years: Granddaughter Charmain (Kevin) Woebbeking, and their children - Brandon, Scott & Adam Lucille is further survived by: Daughter Renee Robards and her children - Anthony (Julie) Donahue, Raymond (Jenny) Donahue, Christopher Donahue Daughter Janice (Jerry) Drahos and their children - Jerry (Debbie) Drahos Chrissy (Chris) Newkirk, Lisa (Jeff) Sproul, Carol (J.W.) Smith, Julie (Brice) Thorpe Great grandchildren Anthony, Aaron & Jacob Donahue, Michael Newkirk, Megan & Ryan Smith, Colten, Courtney, Elizabeth & Victoria Thorpe. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband - Harry, and brother - Felix Rose. Funeral Services for Lucille Robards will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of services at 6:00 p.m. Private interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
