Lynn A. Cordova

Lynn Annette Cordova (Bogenhagen), born in Clintonville, WI May 1955 won her 12 year battle with cancer on June, 25, 2013. Lynn's adult life began by graduating near the top of her Merrill High School class of 1973. Passing on college scholarship opportunities to begin her family, Lynn married Joseph Cordova on July 21, 1973. Six children were born as a result of their blessed union. Jeremy (Carrie) Cordova, Tomahawk, Joshua (Marcella) Cordova, Pequot Lakes MN, Jacob (Andrea) Cordova, Merrill, Jennifer Cordova, Merrill, Joseph (Hilary) Cordova, Tomahawk, Jamie (Sarah) Cordova, Port Alexander, AK. Lynn positively doted over all of her 11 grandchildren and they will all miss their Nama profoundly. A full time Mother in addition to operating the family farm, Lynn was pivotal in founding the Rock Falls Rascals 4-H Club and served on the Lincoln County Fair Board during the 1980's. Life's journey took Lynn from Tomahawk to Port Edwards, Wisconsin in 1997, then on to Clatskanie, Oregon in 2006, followed by a stop in Brainerd, Minnesota before coming full circle and returning to Tomahawk and to the family she loved unconditionally. The many friends made during her travels are all better and richer for having the privilege to be a part of her life. A master gardener and inventive chef, Lynn enjoyed beautifying her home with her unique floral arrangements and whipping up mouth watering meals for her family. Though a devastating disease took her from us too soon, all who had the good fortune of knowing Lynn will carry the love she shared and use that love along with the memories made to help fill the void left by her passing. While our hearts and minds struggle with the agonizing loss of our Wife, Mother, Nama, and Friend, we are truly grateful for the life she shared with us and for the lessons she taught us. The amazingly strong, courageous, battle she fought to her last breath will continue to serve as inspiration and motivation to us all. We love you and look forward to the day we can be reunited. Visitation for Lynn Cordova will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. In accordance with Lynn's wishes, a Private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Memorials are appreciated to: GIST Foundation. For more information visit www.GISTsupport.org
