Margaret M. Loehmer, age 89, of Tomahawk, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Margaret was born in the town of Wilson on May 24, 1927 to Richard & Pauline “Lena” (Steinbach) Jahn. She was married to Paul Loehmer on July 6, 1945 in Tomahawk, he passed away in 1993. From 1970 until 1973, Margaret worked at Sacred Heart as a nurses aid in the x-ray department. From there, she worked for Dr. Henderson until her retirement in 1987. Margaret was the treasurer for the Township of Wilson for 28 years. She was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church where she served on the Ladies Aid/LWML & Funeral Luncheon Committees.
Margaret is survived by her children – Thomas Loehmer of Tomahawk, Judith (Claude) Paszek of Wausau and Christine (Jim “Himey”) Kincaid of Tomahawk. She is also survived by her 5 Grandchildren – Paula (John) Gavinski, Brian (Ann) Paszek, Leann Ninabuck, Nicholas Confer & Valerie Kelch; 8 Great Grandchildren – Michaela, Alexandra, Christopher, Lillie, Adelyn, Ashley, Raquel & Cody; and further survived by 7 Great Great Grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter – Patricia, sister- Helen (Robert) Wanie, and brother – Robert (Emily) Jahn.
The Funeral Service for Margaret Loehmer will take place at 11:00AM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at St. Paul Ev Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev Mark Schoenherr will officiate. Visitation will take place on Sunday at the Krueger Family Funeral Home from 3:00PM until 6:00PM. Visitation will continue on Monday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery will take place in the spring.
