Margaret H. Sloan, age 85, Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk.
Margaret was born September 11, 1924 in Tomahawk, and was baptized at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, the daughter of Paul and Alvina (Von Loh) Bootz. Margaret spent her youth in Merrill, WI until the age of 18, when she moved to Evanston, Illinois. She married Howard L. Sloan on March 16, 1946 in Evanston. She and Howard moved to Tomahawk, following retirement in 1978. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. She served on the Altar Guild at St. Paul's. Margaret enjoyed Antiques, handmade crafts, and had an extensive collection of beanie babies.

Funeral Services for Margaret Sloan will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
