Marie H Towle

Marie H. Towle, age 89, of W2988 County Road D, Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her home. Marie was born December 8, 1927 in Wausau to Emil and Cecelia (LaDarte) Kasten. She married Clarence W. Towle on July 11, 1953 in Wausau. Clarence and Marie lived for 17 years in the EauClaire area before moving to Tomahawk in 1993. Marie enjoyed cross stitching, flowers, and gardening. She was a collector of Hummel figurines, Lilliput houses, and rosary’s. Marie and her family became very close with her pen pal from England and shared many travels across the world with her and her family. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and quick wit. Survivors include: Husband, Clarence Children, Ann (Wayne) Koskey N. Aurora, IL Dan (Christine) Towle Tomahawk Dona (Greg) Gerwig Westerville, OH Michael Towle N. Aurora, IL Bill (Kelly) Towle West Bend, WI Sister, Helen Tornow Wausau Marie is further survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison. Fr. Louis Reddy Maram Reddy will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Friday evening from 4 until 6:30 p.m. A prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m. The visitation will continue Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11 in Harrison.
