Marilyn Jeane Flietner

Marilyn Jeane Flietner, age 92 passed away on Thursday, October 31st at Rib Lake Health Services under the care of Hope Hospice. Marilyn was born on February 16, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Frank and Leonora (nee Stender) Waite.

Marilyn attended and graduated in 1950 from Washington High School. She married Edward Flietner on October 31, 1953.

 In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her sons and close friends and was an active member of the Health Alliance of Price County and Ladies Auxillary Post 50.

 She is survived by her sons Lee Allen (Audrey) of Watertown, WI and Brian Wayne (Cheri) of Milwaukee, WI and her grandson Brennen Roche and by other relatives and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Ed, her son James Edward, her parents, 2 Brothers Donald and Robert Waite and their spouses Corinne and Betty.

Visitation for Marilyn will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church in Phillips, WI with a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm followed by burial at Lakeside Cemetery.

Flietner family would like to thank the staff at Rib Lake Health Services and Hope Hospice for all the wonderful care that Marilyn received.
