Marilyn M. Nickerson

Marilyn M. Nickerson, age 86 of Woodruff and Presque Isle, WI died on Friday, September 23rd at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI with her family by her side. Marilyn was born on August 23, 1930 in Janesville, WI the daughter of Everett and Kathryn (nee Stockman) Decker. Marilyn graduated from Milton High School and managed the Janesville Women’s Club, was a Cabinet Business Owner and worked at LaPorte’s Grocery Store. Marilyn was involved with the Lioness Club, loved fishing, boating, crocheting, spending time with her family and enjoyed maintaining her well manicured lawn.

Marilyn is survived by her Husband, Robert “Nick” Nickerson of Presque Isle, WI and her Children: Stephen (Linda) Fisher of Janesville, WI; Daniel (Vicki) Fisher of Woodruff, WI; Douglas (Linda) Fisher of Arbor Vitae, WI; and Brad (Sue) Nickerson of Grayslake, IL and by Grandchildren: Lisa (Kyle) Mortimer, Lindsay Fisher, Katelyn (Devin Kotthaus) Fisher, Colleen (Jason Koranda) Evenson, Justin Fisher, Shawn Fisher, Ashley Fisher, Morgan Fisher, Brittany (Andy Koch) Fisher, Kimberlyn (Shawn) Domaszek, Karianne Fisher, Beth (Kevin) Staunton, Jeff Nickerson, Dawn (Eric) Thurston and Ryan (Amanda) Nickerson and by Great Grandchildren: Olivia, Colin, Emily, Trenton, Ianna, Kaiden, Sean, Dustin, Brooke, Alyssa and Brent. Further survived by her Sister, Donna (Roger) Gottschalk and Brother in law, Gary Carlson and by many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her first Husband of 54 years; Robert Fisher and by her Parents, Everett and Kathryn Decker; Brother, Gerald (Jeanne) Decker and by her Sister, Susie Carlson and by Son; Dan Nickerson and Niece, Theresa Parrish.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 27th at 11:00 AM at Manitowish Waters Community Presbyterian Church with a visitation from 10:00 AM till time of service. Burial will take place at Pinelawn Cemetery in Manitowish Waters, WI.
