MARION WAGNER
Marion Dorothy Wagner, 88, Phillips, died at Lakeside Villa Assisted Living while under the care of her family, the staff, and Flambeau Home Health and Hospice. She was born in Phillips on August 9, 1928, the daughter of Edward and Frieda (Stoecker) Glissendorf. She was a 1946 graduate of the Phillips High School. She was married to Carl Revak and they later divorced. She was married to James Wagner on October 23, 1976, in Virginia, Minnesota, and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2006. She was employed as a Clerk/Cashier in local grocery stores for many years and then by Phillips Plating until the time of her retirement. She was a member of Saint John Lutheran Church, and of the Frank and Michael Baran VFW Post No. 5778 Auxillary.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Moore, Phillips; by two sons, Gary (Barb) Revak, Phillips, and Gene Revak, Phillips; by two step-sons, Cary (Marty) Wagner, Crossville, TN, and Randy (Linda) Wagner, Ogema; by many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren; and by one sister-in-law, Rosemary Glissendorf, Phillips. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter, Cathy Rzepecki; by two brothers, Howard and Robert (Lavern) Glissendorf.
Memorial services will held on Saturday, July 1, at 11:00 A.M. at Saint John Lutheran Church with Pastor Glenn Sokolowski officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Inurnment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Phillips.
