Marion R. Hoffman, age 64, Tomahawk, passed away May 7, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital Palliative Care following a courageous 2 year battle with cancer.
Marion was born January 13, 1943 in Sheboygan to Louis and Rose (Martin) Bower. She married Harold "Huffy" Hoffman, Jr. on October 11, 1962 in Rockford, Illinois; he passed away in 1996. Marion moved to the Tomahawk area in 1984. She was formerly employed with Weinbrenner Shoe Factory in Merrill, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed needlecraft and plastic canvas, crocheting, playing computer games, Nascar, campfires, cookouts, collecting bears, and spending time with her family, She loved "The Rock" from WWF.
Survivors include 3 sons - Michael (Tonia) Hoffman of Merrill, Steven Hoffman of Sheboygan, and Mark Hoffman of Wausau, 1 daughter - Kaye Hoffman of Rhinelander, 1 brother - Roger Bower of Sheboygan, 2 sisters - MaryAnne (Lloyd) Hackbart of Merrill, Diane Pruitt of Sheboygan, 4 grandchildren - Amanda, Samantha, Steven, and Nicholas, 2 great grandchildren - Tyrel and Elijah. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - "Huffy", and 2 brothers - Richard and Robert Bower.
Funeral Services for Marion Hoffman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2007 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Prairie Rapids Cemetery in the Town of Nokomis.
