Marion P. Schoen, age 85, Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Taylor Park Nursing Home under Ministry Home Hospice Care in Rhinelander.
Marion was born February 15, 1927 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Umbrine) Kluber. She married Robert Schoen on November 7, 1959 in Milwaukee; he passed away in 2001. Marion and Bob lived in Milwaukee for many years, and owned and operated Schoen's Place Tavern in Neosho for 11 years. She was also employed a Certified Nursing Assistant for 10 years at the Hartford Nursing Home in Hartford, and 20 years at Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk. Marion was a resident of the Tomahawk area for the past 30 years, and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Marion is further survived by 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son - Michael, and son in law - George Kress.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marion Schoen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the spring at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
