Marjorie M. Grube, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed gently into eternity on Easter Sunday 2009 at the age of 90. She is remembered by her family and friends as loving, courageous, and fun.
Born and raised in Tomahawk, she was devoted to her family, held several jobs, and volunteered at church and in the community. She was born on March 23, 1919, the daughter of James and Emily Horky. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dean Grube, whom she married in 1939, and her brother Roland Horky. She is survived by sons Donald (Patricia) Grube, Woodridge, Illinois, Bruce (Lori) Grube, Austin, Texas, and Dean (Roberta) Grube, Phillips, daughters Mary Grube, Ashland, and Jean (Jerry) Griswold, Madison, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Marjorie Grube will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 14th from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home, with a Vigil Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
