Marjorie J. Keene, age 75, 2723 Washington St., Apt. 1, Wausau, passed away May 26, 2009 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk. Marjorie was born October 14, 1933 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Anthony and Gertrude (Winker) Ungerer. She was married to James Keene; he passed away on November 13, 2008. Marjorie was a life-long resident of the Wausau area. She was formerly employed with the American Legion and Labor Temple in Wausau, and was a former Librarian at the Mosinee Library. Marjorie was an avid book reader, and enjoyed going to the local casinos and traveling to Las Vegas. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include: daughter Victoria (Clark) Theilig Stevens Point 2 granddaughters Brogan Theilig Indiana Haley Theilig Stevens Point 1 brother Arthur (Elaine) Ungerer Tomahawk 3 sisters Marie "Annie" (Mike) Mesich Ironwood, Michigan Sally (Charlie) Brauer Racine Jacqueline (Mark) Alberg Tomahawk 6 step children Michael (Sol) Keene Hampton, Virginia Timothy Keene Wausau Patrick (Fiancèe Joni) Keene Wausau Kerry Scherer Wausau Jackie (Dave) Klimek Mosinee Tracey Keene Wausau Marjorie is further survived by 13 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband - Jim and 3 sisters - Jo Jo, Boots, and Toni. A Celebration of Marge's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Northwoods Vineyard Church in Tomahawk. Marge's sister Jackie will be leading the celebration.
