MARLENE TESCH
Marlene Beverly Tesch, 72, Phillips, longtime Prentice resident, died in the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips on Friday, September 27, 2019, while under the care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice. She was born in Phillips on December 11, 1946, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Weinzatl) Tesch. She attended school in Prentice, and was a Charter attendee of the Phillips Achievement Center in Phillips. She had been a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church of Prentice, and attended events of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Southern Price County VFW Post No. 8491. She competed in the Special Olympics. In her free time she enjoyed embroidery, latch hook, and playing cards and dominos.
She is survived by one sister, Marie (Curt) Quinnell, Kennan, Walter Jr (Audrey) Tesch, Prentice, and George (Beverly) Tesch, Rib Lake. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 5, at St. John Catholic Church in Prentice with Father Lourdu Raju Madanu celebrating the Funeral Mass. Interment will be in the Prentice Cemetery in Prentice. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
