Marsha Jane Rosenberg was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on February 8th, 1941 the daughter of Marshall and Marion Paasch. She worked at Kissler’s bakery while in high school, graduated from West Division High School and went to work at Northwestern Life until she married Paul Rosenberg in 1960. She was a fulltime mother and homemaker until she joined Paul working in the family-owned business, Bill’s Power Center. They retired together in 1999 and moved to Presque Isle, Wisconsin where her childhood dream of living on her family’s lake property was fulfilled. Her love for books and reading led her to be a long-time volunteer at the Presque Isle Library. Her creativity was expressed in her many quilts, table runners, wall hangings, pillowcases, hot pads and more that can be found in her home as well as the homes of her children and grandchildren. She was an accomplished accordion player, playing the Grenadiers and danced with the Hot Shot square dancers on TV. She was known for her German potato salad, enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, looking at and collecting antiques, walking on the beach as well as sitting in an inner tube on Katinka or Presque Isle lake.
Marsha’s life was an inspiring example of faith in God, and unwavering love and devotion for Paul over their 62 years of marriage, love and pride in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a quiet way of leading us in faith and making sure her children and grandchildren knew about Jesus.
