Marvin Callahan, age 59, N9480 Sunset Point Road, Tomahawk, died unexpectedly on April 25, 2013 at his residence. Marv was born September 4, 1953 in Tomahawk, the son of James and Caryl (Bartz) Callahan. He married Sue Egelkrout on November 11, 1972 in Tomahawk. Marv was employed with PCA Tomahawk Mill for over 40 years and was currently serving as the pulp mill superintendent. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking maple syrup and camping, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Marv and Sue are members at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, where Marv was currently serving as Chairman of the board of directors. Survivors include: Wife Sue Callahan Tomahawk Children Wayne (Angie Hibbert) Callahan LaGrande, OR Becky (Kevin) Schwartz Madison Cari (Matt) Erickson Appleton Siblings Joy (Don) Arneson Tomahawk Elaine (Bill) Steinhafel Tomahawk Jeanine (Dean) Peck Tomahawk Carleen (Jerry) Johnson Elk Mound Jacky (Chuck) Smith Tomahawk Jill (Pat) Massa Tomahawk James (Mary Jo) Callahan Tomahawk Wally (Jane) Callahan Tomahawk Marv is further survived by his grandchildren: Connor Schwartz, Annika Schwartz, Benjamin Erickson, and Emerson Callahan. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dave. Funeral Services for Marv Callahan will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Sunday, April 28th from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and again at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Memorials are appreciated to the Ronald McDonald House in Marshfield.
