Marvin G. Hansen

Marvin Gordon Hansen, age 76 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Wednesday, November 7th at his residence. Marvin was born on August 23, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Arnold and Ethel (nee Matteffs) Hansen. He attended Custer High School and UW Milwaukee with an associates degree in Management. He proudly served in the US Army from 1960 to 1966. Marvin married Carol Ann Klose on June 8, 1963. He was a member of the Madsen-Empey Post 89 American Legion and the Jaycees. He was on the Arbor Vitae Planning Committee, the AV-W School Board and the Selective Service Board. Marvin worked in Real Estate for many years and in his free time he loved gardening, camping and hunting, reading novels and mountain biking.
He is survived by his wife; Carol Hansen and by 3 sons; Erik (Tammy) Hansen, Jon (Nicole) Hansen and Brad (Amiee) Hansen and grandchildren Damara, Erin, Allison, Tarran, Nikolas, August, Gabriella, Avonlea, Finnian. Further survived by his sister; Jeanette Ledermann and by brothers-in-law; Jim Graton and Dennis Ledermann.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; Arnold and Ethel Hansen and by sisters; Joanne Geise and Shirley Graton.
Memorial Services with military honors for Marvin will be held on Friday, November 16th at 12:00 Noon at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a Memorial Gathering from 11:00 AM till time of service.
