Mary Ann “Marion” Crossman, age 87, passed away tranquilly on April 25, 2016 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care.
Mary was born on March 25, 1929 in Chicago, IL to her parents, Steve & Josephine Prelozni. She lived most of her life in Waukesha, WI. She was married to Robert Crossman and together they had three children. Mary lived in Tomahawk, WI for a short time before moving to Weston for the past six years. Mary was a woman of great faith in our Lord and Savior. She is now at peace after her struggle with pancreatic cancer.
Mary loved her family and enjoyed the times spent together with them. She deeply cared for all animals, but had a great fondness for cats and delighted in watching and feeding of birds. She took pleasure in the flowers, which she grew and tended to. She greatly enjoyed visiting with her friends, playing bingo and games.
Mary is survived by her three children- Bob Crossman of Cedarburg, Larry (Lizette) Crossman of Tomahawk, and Alex Crossman of Sun Valley, NV; her 7 grandchildren- Jason (Meagan) Crossman, Luke (Jessica) Crossman, John (Emily) Crossman, Kyle Crossman, Kurt Crossman, McKenzie Crossman & Madelyn Crossman; and her 11 great grandchildren- Alexis Crossman, Madison Crossman, Jonathan Crossman, Evelyn Crossman, Elicia Crossman, Arieanna Crossman, Xander Crossman, Noah Crossman, Eli Crossman, Karerra Anderson and Lucy Crossman.
Mary is further survived by her brother, Hank (Mary) Prelozni; her sisters- Rosemary (Frank) Peterson & Joann (Jack) Williams, sister-in-law Joan Prelozni; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents- Josephine & Stephen Prelozni; her husband- Robert Crossman; her sisters Josephine Prelozni & Lillian Prelozni; her brothers- Steven Prelozni, John Prelozni, Alex Prelozni & Tony Prelozni.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann Crossman will take place at 1:30PM on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waukesha- 822 N East Avenue, Waukesha, WI. Visitation will take place from 1:00PM until the time of Mass at 1:30PM. Burial in Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, will follow Mass.
