Mary Ann Kramer

Mary Ann Kramer, age 79 of Springstead, WI was called by the Lord to Eternal Life on Monday, August 18, 2014. Mary Ann was born on March 25, 1935 in Park Falls, WI the daughter of Alois and Delia (nee Boyer) Fenzl. She attended St. Anthony’s School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953. She received her Teaching Degree at the University of Wisconsin and Northland College in Ashland, WI. In her early years, she taught Grade School in Beloit, WI and Robbinsdale, MN and in 1968 she met Dick Kramer in Park Falls and they started dating and married 2 years later. In 1970, Mary taught 2nd Grade in the old Washington School on Hwy 13 and 4 years later she was the Librarian at the New Elementary School in Park Falls. After 24 years of service, Mary retired in 1998. She was very active in community service; Member of Price County Retired Teachers Association, Springstead Sparks, and many years with the Gray Ladies at Park Manor. She also worked at the Sparks Resale Shop for many years. One of her favorite pastimes was kayaking on Springstead Lake, riding her bicycle and enjoyed walking and in the winter months it was snowshoeing and skiing. She is survived by her loving Husband, Richard Kramer of Springstead, WI and 4 Brothers; Robert Fenzl, O. Praem. –Catholic Priest of St. Norbert Abbey of DePere, WI and Lawrence Fenzl; William (Pauline) Fenzl and James (Cecelia) Fenzl all of Park Falls, WI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alois and Delia Fenzl and Her Sister, Dorothy Schwartz and Brother in law, Edward Schwartz and her Sister in law, Kathryn Fenzl.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Park Falls, WI from 10:30 to 11:30 AM with Memorial Mass at 11:30 AM with luncheon to follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
