Mary Ann Brogle

Mary Ann Brogle, age 85, 1971 S. Schoettler Rd., Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Friendly Village in Rhinelander. Mary was born July 5, 1928 in Downers Grove, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Riebernek) Larson. She married Fred J. Brogle on June 24, 1950 in Downers Grove. She and Fred moved to Tomahawk in 1983. She enjoyed traveling and going to casinos. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: husband, Fred Brogle, Tomahawk; children, Mary (Keith) Berkhout, Sandwich, Illinois, Fred E. (Dawn) Brogle, Eagle River; sister, Loretta (Gene) Yackley, Plainfield, Illinois. Mary Ann is further survived by one grandchild and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann Brogle will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the hour of Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Prairie Rapids Cemetery in the Town of Nokomis.
