Mary Ethel (Marshall) Martin Age 89, died peacefully on January 28th, 2025 at the Marshfield Hospital in Ladysmith, WI after a long illness. Born April 27th, 1935 Mary was the only child born to Gaylord and Ethel (Warren) Marshall. Mary was active in high school band and 4-H and was the Madison Stock Show Queen one year. Mary was a graduate of Cazenovia High 1953. Mary worked at various jobs from being a secretary, a cook for many years at area restaurants, being on Riverdale School Board, and lastly cook for Rusk County Aging meals. Mary enjoyed gardening, reading and watching her hummingbirds out on the deck. Mary is survived by her husband, Larry; her children Laurie Swenson of Richland Center, Mark Martin of Blue River, and Chris Martin (Crystal Krachey) of Kennan; her grandchildren Zachary (Lyndsey) Swenson of Lone Rock, Alex Swenson of Lone Rock, Ashlee Swenson-Davis of Cazenovia; and her great grandchildren Aliyah, Mckailah, Jayden, Eli, Owen and two honorary granddaughters, Adley and Clara.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Gaylord and Ethel Marshall and Richard Swenson Jr.
