Mary Pierce

Mary "Collie" Pierce, age 80, W6417 W. Kraft Road, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Mary was born September 5, 1929 in Tomahawk, the daughter of George and Daisy (Baker) Buschmann. She married Eugene "Tubby" Pierce on November 17, 1952 in Merrill; he passed away in 1984. Mary was employed as a seamstress with Nick & Sons Casket Factory, and also worked for Georgie Kahn for many years. She enjoyed knitting, watching scary movies, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters Judy (John) Squires Tomahawk Sue (Wade) Walton Eau Claire Son Steve Sanderson Mosinee Sisters Theresa Zodrow Norma Anderson both of Tomahawk Mary is further survived by 8 grandchildren, Mickey, Rick, Andrea, Derrick, Lisa, Zachary, Danielle, and Jeramiah, and 3 great grandchildren, Rayanne, Olivia, and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son - Gene, and 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral Services for Mary "Collie" Pierce will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from Krueger Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 9th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
