Mary Stone

Mary S. Stone, 75, of 1147-6 Johnson Creek Road, Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012 under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at Season's of Life Hospice in Woodruff. Mary was born August 23, 1936 in Wausau to Richard and Ruth (Nickel) Stone. She was formerly married to Dr. Phillip Stubenrauch who has preceded her in death. Mary was born and raised in the Wausau area, she later moved to Snohomish, Washington where she had lived for over 40 years. She moved back to Northern Wisconsin and the Arbor Vitae area 4 1/2 years ago. Mary loved life she enjoyed people and being around her family. She enjoyed boating, the outdoors, and going for a drive in her white '94 Dodge. Surviving Mary is: One Son, David (Heather) Stubenrauch Phoenix, AZ Brother, Tom (Donna) Stone Harshaw She is further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew. A Memorial Service for Mary Stone will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Pastor Rebecca Iverson will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00.
