Mary Webb

Mary Webb, age 88, 2085 Margaret Drive, Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Mary was born March 17, 1921 in County Mayo, Ireland, the daughter of James and Mary (Coyne) Fox. She married Kenneth Webb on January 27, 1945 in Norwich, England; he passed away in 1974. Mary served in the Royal Air Force during WWII. On April 16, 1957, Mary moved to the United States with her husband and children. She lived in the Milwaukee area until 2002, when she moved to Tomahawk to live with her daughter, Eula. Mary enjoyed traveling and being with her family - especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Eula (Michael) Jourdan, Tomahawk, Teresa Atsch, Portland, Oregon, 1 son, James Webb, Spring Hill, Florida, 3 brothers, Pete (Kathleen) Fox, Tom Fox and Paddy Fox, all of Manchester, England 2 sisters, Nancy and Rose Rollason both of Manchester, England Mary is further survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Kenneth, son-in-law - Dean, daughter-in-law - Linda, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. A Memorial Service for Mary Webb will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 4:00 p.m.
