Mason Novotny

Mason Novotny, age 5, 9149 Jenny Lake Road, Tomahawk, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Mason was born October 29, 2004 in Wausau, the son of Mark and Teena (Burton) Novotny. He attended the Redeemer Learning Center and was a 4K student at the Tomahawk Public School. He enjoyed wrestling with his dad, playing with his sister, and rocking with his mom. Survivors include: Parents Mark and Teena Novotny Tomahawk Sister Sydney Novotny at home Maternal Grandparents Charles Burton Arizona Terry Higgins Tomahawk Andy Melquist Tomahawk Paternal Grandparents Mary (Rick) Plenkers Watertown John (Lorrie) Novotny III Tomahawk Maternal Great Grandmother Louise Burton Tomahawk Paternal Great Grandmother Barbara Albers John (Margaret) Novotny, Jr. both of Watertown Mason is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mason Novotny will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at Krueger Family Funeral Home on Thursday, December 17th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Parish Vigil Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
