Melanie Marie Stein

SPRINGSTEAD, Wis. — Melanie Marie Stein, 32, was freed from her battle with depression and addiction on Saturday, June 29, 2019.
Melanie was born on May 23, 1987, to June (Anderson) Double and Martin Stein Sr.
Melanie had a love for the outdoors which included boating and fishing with her friend Larry, along with her new passion gardening with Craig. Melanie enjoyed taking photos. With camera in hand, she took pleasure in the scenery around her, and tried to capture the "good moments" of her life.
None of these compare to the loving relationship she had with her best friend, Bella, her dog of many years.
Melanie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. May she be at peace now.
Melanie is survived by her mother, June Double; father, Martin Stein Sr.; brothers, Martin Stein Jr. and Daniel Stein; sisters, Ariel Stein and Kassy Double; paternal grandfather, Harold Stein, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service for Melanie is to be held on Monday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at the Nimsgern Funeral Chapel, at 1205 Margaret Street in Woodruff.
