Melinda Bowman

Melinda Bowman, 49, of Phillips, passed away peacefully June 2, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in St. Louis Park, MN, to Jerome and Carol (Barta) Hegge on September 21, 1972.

She was a talented artist that had a diverse list of hobbies; she loved traveling, kayaking, and camping. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing arts and crafts, baking, and gardening. She went to school to be a mechanic and liked to tinker in her garage. Her laugh was infectious and will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

She is survived by her children, Lacey-Marie, Levi Dittberner, Lilly-May; her parents; sisters, Debbie (Brian) Bluhm, Jodell (Troy) Kadlecek; and many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Hegge; and grandparents

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, 426 Flambeau Ave, Phillips, WI 54555. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. and continue until the start of service. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
