Meredith "Mert" Skolaski, age 89, Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk.
Meredith was born January 11, 1925 in Black Earth, the daughter of Adolph and Florence Mickelson. She married Raymond Skolaski on November 27, 1947 in Madison; he passed away October 26, 1995. Mert formerly worked at Red-Dot Potato Chip and Central Colony in the Madison area. She and her husband moved to Tomahawk in 1976. Mert was a homemaker and also did a little babysitting. She loved playing cards, board games, but especially enjoyed her family.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk.

Meredith is further survived by ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Ray, son - Ron, stepson - Maynard, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
Locally, a Visitation for Meredith Skolaski will be held at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Highland Memory Gardens, 3054 Highway BB, Madison, WI, from 11:00AM until 12 Noon on Saturday, November 15. The Funeral Service for Meredith "Mert" will be held at 12:00 Noon at Highland Memory Gardens Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Chapel in Madison.
