Michael Faufau, age 54, of Green Bay and formerly of Tomahawk, departed on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Green Bay.
Mike was born October 14, 1958, the son of Forest and Catherine (Hickey) Faufau. He attended school in Tomahawk, and formerly worked at Lincoln Industries. He later moved to Green Bay, where he worked and had many friends at Aspiro and Cerebral Palsy.
Mike was an active member of Special Olympics, belonging to the "Packerland Jets", and also enjoyed being a member of the Area Religious Special Education Group.
Survivors include: parents, Forest and Catherine Faufau, Green Bay; sister, Kathleen (Dan) Kaul, Livingston, Montana; brothers, Bob (Betty) Faufau, Tomahawk, Jack (Lola) Faufau, Little Falls, Minnesota, Jim Faufau, Alpharetta, Georgia, Jeff Faufau, Green Bay. Mike is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Michael Faufau will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Father John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
