MICHAEL SCHNEIDER
Michael James Schneider, 59, Phillips, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on January 22, 1960, the son of Raymond and Gloria (Neider) Schneider. He was a graduate of Phillips High School. As a young man he was employed as a production worker at JELD-WEN Windows in Hawkins, he later owned and operated the Highway 13 Bait and Tackle Shop in Phillips, and was currently employed by the Samuel Pressure Vessel Group in Tomahawk. In his free time he enjoyed attending his granddaughters sporting events, fishing, hunting, Canadian fishing trips and Iowa pheasant hunting trips, four wheeling, and was an avid Packers and Brewers fan.
He is survived by Laura Gregor, his companion of 13 years; by one daughter, Jessica Schneider, Phillips; by one granddaughter, Mya Krawczyk; by one sister, Mary Beth (Richard) Dueno, Bartlett, TN; by four nieces, and by great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and by one brother, Steven.
A celebration of life is being planned for Saturday, January 25, 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Lanes. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Phillips at a later date.
