Micheline Bardin Levin, a Paris-born ballerina and CBC television actress, died on Sunday, February 16, 2014. Her career spanned several decades and several continents, as she dazzled people all over the world with her dancing, singing and artistic abilities. Micheline’s passion for ballet was paramount in her life. Her innate talent was exceptional. Her interpretation and articulation in movement was brilliant. For this reason, she was nominated as one of the ten best ballerinas in 1957. Her career brought her in close contact with people like Evita Peron, Charlie Chaplin and Howard Hughes. Her flare and beauty were noticed wherever she went. If you met her, you were not likely to soon forget her. Micheline spent her later years enjoying the peace and tranquility of the northwoods of Minocqua. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Sherman Levin. Her friends would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Milestone Senior Living in Rhinelander, and her long-time caretaker, Tammy Nelson. They helped her final moments to be full of comfort and joy. Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 19th from 4:30 to 5:30 PM with Memorial Service at 5:30 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI.
