Mike E. Wegmann

Michael E. “Mike” Wegmann, age 69 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Wednesday, February 25th at his residence. Mike was born on March 5, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Anthony and Maxine (nee Sargent) Wegmann. Mike graduated from Lakeland Union High School and attended UW-LaCrosse.
He loved Duck hunting, was an avid Grouse and Deer Hunter and Musky Fisherman; Mike enjoyed trap and skeet shooting and was past president of the Minocqua Gun Club and a Ducks Unlimited member.
He is survived by his Son, Robert (Christina) of Minocqua, WI and by his Sister; Barbara (David) Riedel of Iron Mountain, MI and Brother, Thomas Wegmann of Arbor Vitae, WI and by Nephews and Nieces; Mark (Paula) of League City, TX; Scott of Maryland; Melissa of Houston, TX; Samatha of Iron Mountain, MI and Great Nephews and Nieces; Anthony, Matthew, David, Zachary, Emma and Alexandria and special cousin; Christine Sargent and Special Friends; Terry Priebe and Jim Rehm and further survived by his hunting companion; Remy, his black lab and his cat, Shy.
Upon his wishes, cremation took place and a Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a later date.
