Nancy Lussow, age 67, 1016 Charlene Ave., Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital under the care of Ministry Hospice surrounded by her closest family and in the hearts of many, many more.
Nancy was born October 1, 1944 in Chicago, the daughter of Henry and Bernice (Pellauer) Lussow. She worked as an english teacher in her early life. Later, she worked in publishing as a managing editor. She was a woman of many words, but often chose to share few. She went through life with an amused smile like she knew something everyone else didn't. She was known and loved for her wit and humor, but most of all her kindness. A daughter, sister, aunt, and great aunt, but most of all a really neat lady. She earned her peace and will be missed. Nancy lived most of her life in the Chicago area and had retired to Tomahawk 7 years ago.
Survivors include:
Brothers Robert (Timi) Lussow Richard (Marlene) Lussow all of Tomahawk.
Niece, Tracy (John) Brymer Wales, WI
Nephews, Christopher (Angela) Lussow Golden, CO Kenneth (Angela) Lussow Sussex, WI Robert (Jill) Lussow Sunman, Indiana
According to Nancy's wishes, there will be a private family service held at a later date.
