Nancy Wilson

Nancy Wilson, née Kuni, age 76, formerly of Yorkville, IL peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 after a weekend surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born on December 22, 1942 in Dubuque, IA to Lester E. and Margaret “Peg” (Foster) Kuni. After graduating from West Aurora (IL) High School in 1960, she attended Monticello College in Alton, IL, then graduated from Aurora (IL) College. She supervised the Plano, IL driver’s license facility for the IL Secretary of State for 21 years before retiring in 2002. Nancy married James M. Wilson in 1980. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Nancy had a love for animals, reading, traveling, and music. Above all, she loved doting on her family and “hanging out” in the woods at 43 Nawakwa Ln with her family, friends, dogs, and cats. She had the biggest heart, always sharing an infectious smile and she will be truly missed by all she ever crossed paths with.
Nancy is survived by her husband, James M. Wilson; her children, Jeffrey J. Pearce (Patty O’Donnell) of Barrington Hills, IL and Susan (Jose) Lara of Aurora, IL,; and her grandchild, Alicia L. Lara of Burbank, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lawrence A. Kuni.
Nancy’s family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt, “thank you,” to the outstanding staff at Milestone Senior Living, Woodruff, WI, and the wonderful hospice workers at Dr. Kate Home Health & Hospice.
