Neal Frederick Leggett, 87, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the UW Madison Hospital. Neal was born June 8, 1937 in Tomahawk the son of Worlen and May (Wilcox) Leggett. He was united in marriage to Lois Egelkrout July 20, 1962 and she preceded him in death in 2018. 

Neal worked at the paper mill in Tomahawk for 50 years, from October 1963 until October 2013. He retired at 76 years old. He was proud of that. He enjoyed basketball, football, baseball, he was an avid Badger, Bucks, Packers, and Brewers Fan. Neal liked going to the casinos and deer hunting with Tim, but most of all he loved his family. He also loved the friendship he developed over the years and really enjoyed spending time with friends at What’s Brewing. 

Surviving are his daughter, Christine (George) Hoffman, Rothchild; son, Tim Leggett, Stevens Point; 4 grandchildren, Kylie (John) Greiling, Minneapolis, Morgan (Corey) Jansen, La Crosse, Cole Leggett, Menomonie, Ali Leggett, Tomahawk, 1great-grandson, Leon Greiling and extended family Kris Leggett, Tomahawk.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Worlen and May Leggett and loving wife of 62 years, Lois.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Calvary Cemetery.
