Nelle Marie Haag

Nelle Marie (Silkworth) Haag, 80, of Woodruff and Boulder Junction, passed away peacefully at her residence at One Penny Place, Woodruff, on Friday, October 31. She was born on June 5, 1934 in Prentice, WI the daughter of Ray and Hannah (nee Peterson) Silkworth.

Nelle is survived by sons Mark (Gina) of Madison, and Fred of Minocqua, Granddaughters: Amanda (Chris) Braunschweig of Madison and Michaela (Josh) Grueneberg of Merrill; great grandson: Louis Braunschweig; and her sister Doris Kindred of Ironwood, MI and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, parents Ray and Hannah Silkworth, brothers Vern, Charles, Earl, Fred, Donald and sisters Dorothy Jane, Phyllis, and Ruth.

The family would like to thank the amazing staffs from One Penny Place and Ministry Dr. Kate Home Health and Hospice for the love and caring they gave to Nelle and the family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, November 15 at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a Memorial Gathering from 11:30 AM till
time of service.
