Nelson "Fletch" Fletcher, age 69, of Tomahawk, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007 at the home of his daughter under hospice care. Fletch was born on May 14, 1938 in Oak Park, Illinois. He served in the United States Marines. While living in Illinois, he was employed at Illinois-Bell Telephone Company of Botavia, Ill. After moving to Tomahawk, he married Catherine "Kit" McCarthy. Fletch formerly owned and operated River's Edge, Fletch's Tap, McCarthys , and also Fletcher & Sons Logging Company. He enjoyed attending The Logging Congress and the Hodag Country Festival.

Funeral Services for Nelson "Fletch" Fletcher will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home…with the Rev. Ross Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 until the time of services at 7 p.m.
