Norbert "Norbie" Adams, 94, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Golden Living-Golden Age in Tomahawk.
Norbie was born on June 30, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois to Matthias and Helen (Sokolowski) Adams. He was married to Lorraine Holzkamp 1941 also in Chicago. She passed away in 1998. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WW II. He had been a machinist in the Chicago area for most of his life, moving to Tomahawk in 1983. He was a longtime member of the VFW in Elk Grove Village, Illinois; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Granddaughter, Lori Kolarik Dwight, IL
Brother, Russell (Darlene) Adams Crystal Lake, IL
Norbert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a sister Gerri, and a grandson, Robert.
A Memorial Service with military rites for Norbert Adams will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Deacon Darrell Smerz will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
