Norman R. Kahle, age 78, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at his home. He was born June 16, 1931 in Tomahawk to the late Bruno and Ella (Nyberg) Kahle. Norm served in the National Guard for 8 years. He was a lifelong resident of the Tomahawk area. He worked for Hilgy's LP in Tomahawk as a truck driver, then as a Logger locally for many years, and as a self-employed mechanic. Norm was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends when they needed him. Survivors include 2 Sons, Pat "Norm" Kahle of Tomahawk, and Michael (Karen) Kahle of Hortonville, WI, 2 Sisters, Jean Schulz and Rita Hilgendorf, both of Tomahawk, 1 Brother, William Kahle of Isanti, MN, and 2 Granddaughters, Nicole and Alissa Kahle, both of Hortonville, WI. He is further survived by many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and his Significant Other, Jeannie Neumeyer. Funeral Services for Norm Kahle will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11 AM from the Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate with interment at the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9 AM until the hour of services at 11.
