Olive Benson

Olive Benson, age 88, of 4 South 7th St, Tomahawk passed away Saturday evening at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born August 24, 1920 in Williston, North Dakota to the late John and Lena Lovsletten, and was married to Hugo Benson on March 5, 1946 in Tomahawk. He preceded her in death in 1977. Olive lived in Rhinelander for 25 years prior to moving to Tomahawk in 1981. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include… 1 daughter- Sherre (Karl) Hofmann of Tomahawk 1 step-daughter- Patricia Howard-Stone (Ron) of Gran Marias, MN A grandson- John (Mary) Hofmann of Willow River, MN 3 step-grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren And 4 step-greatgrandchildren Funeral services for Olive Benson will be held at 11:00 Tuesday morning at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Rebecca Peters to officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday morning from 9:30 until the hour of services. Burial will follow at the Northland Memorial Park in Rhinelander.
